Wellbeing Program – August to October 2019

We are excited to share with you our new CARE AT WORK, 3-Month Wellbeing Program for August, September and October 2019. The program offers a variety of wellbeing classes, workshops and events that are all complimentary for community members within the building, so please spread the word and encourage your colleagues and team members to join us!

Please note: The following classes are strictly for customers of Casselden, 50 Lonsdale St and 271 Spring St only. Proof of working within these buildings will be asked by staff members.

Join us for a 25 minute meditation class or a 25 minutes relaxation session to release tension and the build up of any stress from your working day. You’ll walk out relaxed, limber and ready to finish the day on a high

Self-Defence Class


Each Tuesday from 2nd October until 29th October 2019
4:45pm – 5:15pm

These series of self-defence classes are designed to equip you with a range of skills that focus on position, control and strength. A fun and rewarding class where you can expect to learn a new skill set, be challenged and have fun.

Suitable for beginners to advance. We recommend wearing active wear or comfortable clothing to this class.

Lunch & Learn – Wellbeing Workshops

Join us each Wednesday for a MasterClass style workshop designed to unveil your most productive, energised and inspired self in all facets of your life. Along with our 5-minute mindfulness tools, we’ll be sharing our favourite and easily actionable (and scientifically supported) techniques to get you there.

WEDNESDAY WALKERS – 2km Walk or 4km Power Walk

Casselden Lobby, Casselden
Each Wednesday from 7th August until 30th October 2019
2km Walk – 12:15pm

4km Power Walk – 12:45pm

Join us for a 2km mindful walk or 4km power walk around the gardens of Melbourne city. Throughout the walk, you will be provided with tips on how to build your walking pace, release stress and energise your body.

This walking group is aimed at all abilities. Please ensure you wear comfortable walking shoes and meet promptly at the corresponding times.

CARDIO BOXING

Each Wednesday from 7th August until 30th October 2019

Cardio Boxing is a high-intensity class which involves a combination of cardiovascular and resistance exercises to challenge any fitness level, tone your body and get your heart rate pumping.

Throughout the class, you can expect to complete mainly boxing combinations, cardio drills, and specific boxing exercises.

This class is suitable for all levels of fitness.

Tai Chi Thursdays

Our easy Tai Chi course explores slow stretches, and gentle flowing movements with a strong focus on mindfulness and presence. Over the 12 weeks, two five element forms of easy Tai Chi will be shared with community members.

Sessions are suitable for all levels of fitness. Movements are performed standing and do not require special attire. You can wear your normal work attire and flat, comfortable shoes are preferable.

Hip Hop Yoga
